Peter is continuing his work on the Urban Forest. As co-initiator with the Conservation Foundation of the Morus Londinium project to research and document London’s heritage of old mulberry trees Peter uses contemporary photography and archive material to map urban change over the past centuries.
From 5-7 May 2017 Peter will be leading a UPA/Goldsmiths workshop on “Cartographies” in collaboration with the University of London Institute in Paris (ULIP).
In collaboration with the Museum of Walking, Peter is leading several urban walks, using significant trees as waypoints. Most of these walks are in London Tree Week at the end of May, with funding from the Greater London Authority, London Metropolitan Archive and Conservation Foundation.
